Luso Africa FC celebrated a 3-1 win in their Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) Super League match, against Edenvale Football Club, on Friday night.

This was the second time that Luso had beaten Edenvale in this year’s ELFA competition, with their previous fixture ending in a 4-2 win for Luso.

The match was played at Luso’s home grounds, Hattingh Park, on Friday evening.

The home side was first to put points on the board, scoring a goal in the opening minutes of the first half.

However, the visitors fought back, battling for control of the ball and not giving the home side an inch.

As the first half wound down, Luso managed to score an additional two goals, bringing their lead to 3-0. The goals were scored by Michael Edwards, Marco Cabaleira and Mario Ferreira.

Edenvale fought back in the second half, but managed to score only one goal, securing Luso’s victory.

Luso’s second team won their match against the Edenvale FC second side 3-0, with the help of a home goal. Brent Vos and Nuno De Sousa scored the side’s two goals.

The team will face local rivals Germiston City Football Club, at Hattingh Park, on Saturday, at 3.30pm.
