Local athletes have a new sponsor
Germiston’s athletes are thrilled to have Pick n Pay Primrose as their new sponsor.
Pick n Pay Primrose has come on board as a sponsor for two of Germiston’s top performing athletes.
Kayla Gilbert and Pedro Aaron will receive sponsorships every month.
Gilbert is a senior long jump and hurdles athlete, while Aaron is a junior long jump athlete.
“It is really great for the athletes to receive such sponsorships, we are truly grateful,” said the athletes’ coach, Stephanè Kotze.
“It is humbling when you see big companies such as Pick n Pay help our local champions, I hope others, even individuals get encouraged to do the same for our youngsters.
“A big thank you also goes to Pick n Pay Primrose’s store manager, Chris Ndlovu, who made all this possible.”
“We are very thankful for the sponsorship,” added Gilbert.
