Local bodybuilders bring home the trophies

Two Primrose-based bodybuilders did well in a recent competition.

Local bodybuilders have shown they have what it takes in the bodybuilding arena.

Gym Physique co-owner Marius Wessels and gym member Lucky Tankiso recently competed in the Gauteng Provincial Bodybuilding and Fitness Competition.

Tankiso entered the men’s under 80kg division and placed second, while Wessels entered the men’s masters over 50 years division and placed first.

Wessels was awarded his provincial colours and was selected to represent Gauteng Central at the South African Championships from September 2 to 4 at the Playhouse Theatre in Durban.
