Luso continues their winning streak

Luso Africa is powering ahead in their ELFA campaign.

Luso Africa continues to net wins in their Eastern Local Football Association’s (ELFA) super league season.

The first team took on Alberton FC at home, last Saturday.

The fans at Hattingh Park were treated to a tightly contested match with play being evenly shared between the two teams.

However, good goals from Lee De Abreu and Michael Edwards saw Luso clinch the win, taking the match 2-1.

Luso’s second side against the Alberton FC reserve team saw them run away with the match, recording a 3-0 victory.

An own goal by Alberton, coupled with goals from Milos Domazet and Neville Stewart, gave Luso a comfortable win.

The teams then travelled to Katlehong on Saturday to take on Zwide United.

It was a tight affair for the first team who pulled out all the stops to beat Zwide 4-3.

Goals were scored by Marco Cabeleira, Marco Da Grace, Igor Ivanov and Roberto Da Silva.

In the reserve team’s match, Brent Vos was undoubtedly the hero of the day, netting four goals to lead his team to a 4-1 victory over Zwide.

This weekend sees Luso take on Benoni Northerns at home.
