Elsburg Rugby Club took on East Rand Police at Bosman Stadium on Saturday.
The first half saw Elsburg running away with the match and going into the break with the score 24-0.
A tense second half ensued with East Rand Police flying back into the game and scoring four tries.
Elsburg hung on and continued their good form ultimately beating East Rand Police 36-28.
The team takes on Vanderbijlpark Rugby Club in an away match on May 7.
