Richard Cele walked away with several awards, including the VLC Flat 2015, Croc 2015, Drak 2016 and Male Paddler of the Year, at the Victoria Lake Canoe Club’s annual prize-giving, held at the Victoria Lake Club, last Tuesday.
An atmosphere of camaraderie and support filled the Victoria Lake Club (VLC) last Tuesday, as top paddlers received their awards at the canoe club’s prize-giving.

The canoe club credited their members, both old and new, for their dedication and for making the year so memorable.
Theresa Welsh was named Female Paddler of the Year at the Victoria Lake Canoe Club’s annual prize-giving.

Buti Lamola accepted the award on behalf of himself and Kanyisa Mancoba. The pair were commended on their efforts at the Dusi 2016, and named Junior Paddlers of the Year at the Victoria Lake Canoe Club’s annual prize-giving.
