Luso comes out on top

Luso Africa’s first and second teams shone during this weekend’s matches.

Saturday saw Luso Africa’s first and second teams taking part in the Top Eight Tournament.

The friendly tournament has the top eight sides from the previous season going head-to-head and included teams from Edenvale, Kempton Park and Randburg.

Saturday’s matches against Kempton Park FC were played at Luso’s home grounds, Hattingh Park, in Primrose.

The first team won their match 4-0 with goals being scored by Linda Zwane, Roberto da Silva, Dario Pereira and Marco Cabeleira.

The second team also won their match 2-1 with the matches’ goals being scored by Ricky De Abreu and Nick Mavroudis.

Luso Africa’s second team (yellow) won their match against Kempton Park FC (red) on Saturday.

The club was pleased with Saturday’s games.
