The Pro-Am for this year’s BMW SA Open Golf Championship, hosted by the metro, was played at Glendower Golf Club followed by a prize-giving dinner at Emperors Palace, on January 5.
The second oldest national Open golf event in the world, the SA Open Championship, this year sponsored by BMW and hosted by the metro was played at the Glendower Golf Club from January 7 to 10. In the lead-up to the prestigious event a Pro-Am was held at the same club, followed by a prize-giving dinner at Emperors Palace on January 5. Among the special guests in attendance at the dinner was the executive mayor of Ekurhuleni, Clr Mondli Gungubele (left), MP Lindiwe Maseko and Sunshine Tour chief
