Great season for Jaemi
Young canoeing talent gets second overall in her age group.
St Catherine’s School pupil Jaemi Wellisch raced her last canoe race for the year recently.
The youngster came second in the u-14 girls’ 6km race at the Northwest University.
The canoeing year-end function was also held and Jaemi excelled, placing second overall for girls’ u-14 in the Gauteng Schools League.
She was also awarded a prize for not missing one race this year.
