Get behind the Boks at Birchwood’s BokPark

Book your tickets and experience Bokpark.

Not going to make it to England to support the Bokke during the Rugby World Cup?

Not too worry, the next best thing to being right there in the stands is the new BokPark at the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre in Boksburg.

BokPark will replicate the experience of being in the Rugby World Cup stands with an entire section of the hotel grounds being converted into a unique supporters-themed park for Bok fans across Gauteng.

A giant 20 square meter LED screen and numerous 50” screens with surround sound will ensure ‘non-travelling’ Bok supporters also get to experience the incredible atmosphere, vibe and comradery exclusive to the Rugby World Cup.

BokPark will screen all four Springbok pool games on September 19 and 26 and October 3 and 7.

Fans can sit back in the attractive gardens of the Birchwood Hotel and together with other rugby fans enjoy the drinks and meals all offered at reduced rates.

For those who wish to emulate a truly South African rugby tradition, braai packs will be on sale and braai facilities will be available in the gardens.

The fun starts at midday on match day, with live entertainment provided by a host of South African acts including Gerhard Steyn, Rooies, Cordelia, Gert Koevert, Hennie Jacobs and Beeskraal.

A safe and fun kiddies park will be open, making BokPark the perfect venue for the whole family to cheer the Springboks to victory.

Also on offer, is a more intimate venue, ideal for hosting business clients or even a unique birthday party for friends.

Birchwood’s Hotspot aviation bar can host between 40 and 70 people in their own mini-BokPark.

Guests can enjoy delicious tailor-made menus while watching the matches on giant LED screens in the comfort of their own exclusive bar, while at the same time experiencing the atmosphere of the BokPark crowds not too far away.

So instead of bemoaning the lucky few, get your friends and family together, or even your colleagues, and book now to be part of this first of its kind BokPark.

Tickets for the BokPark cost R100 per person and includes a free glass of wine or beer. For more information or to book tickets visit www.itickets.co.za or www.birchwoodhotel.co.za
