All about the girls

Play soccer and celebrate Women’s Day.

Futballing Girls will celebrate Women’s Day with a soccer tournament they are set to host on August 9, at the Elspark Sports Grounds.

“Futballing Girls is a non-profit organisation that was formed to promote junior girls’ soccer development and, as such, all the funds raised at the tournament will aid in providing coaching clinics and sessions, in the hopes of encouraging the growth of girl’s football,” said the founder of Futballing Girls, Moonira Ramathula.

“We are also looking to integrate the element of girl coaches and referees, among other things.”

The tournament is aimed at u-7, u-9, u-11 and u-13 junior girls and will commence at 8am.

Each team of seven players will have to pay a registration fee in order to participate in the tournament.

For more information, contact Ramathula on 060 478 0532, or send an email to moonirar@gmail.com or ncdlite789@gmail.com.
