Germiston football clubs and football fanatics are invited to participate in the Juventus FC’s annual Easter Tournament celebration.
Clubs in the Ekurhuleni area are expected to come and showcase their talent.
“This year’s tournament will be Juventus FC’s 21st anniversary celebration and, therefore, we wish to extend our invitation to as many teams as possible, and soccer spectators are welcome to come and share in the auspicious event taking place over the Easter weekend,” said Juventus FC team manager Jonathan Schoeman.
The tournament will take place from April 18 – 21, at the WJ Clements Stadium, in Reiger Park.
“This year’s event will see talent on display from Premiere Soccer League (PSL) teams, Auguston Leonard (Bloemfontein Celtic), Wayne Matle (former Kaizer Chiefs player) and Bernard Park of Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana,” said Schoeman.
The tournament will be an open event and therefore extends to: u-19, u-21, u-23 or soccer academies; reserve or feeder teams; professional squads, etc.
The tournament is two-fold: platinum section (open) affiliation and gold section (closed) affiliation.
There is an entry fee and prizes will be given to first and second places.
