The highly anticipated “African Explosion” boxing tournament, at Emperors Palace, has been postponed to March 1 and will take place in The Theatre of Marcellus.
It was originally scheduled for February 15 and the reason for the change of date is unknown.
The doors will open at 6.30pm and the event will start at 7.30pm.
The venue is still Emperors Palace, but at the Theatre of Marcellus and not the Centre Court, as previously publicised.
The main fights are:
- IBO Super Bantamweight World Title: Thabo Sonjica vs Roli Gasca (Philippines)
- WBC Light Heavyweight International Title: Ryno Liebenberg vs Joey Vegas (Uganda)
- WBC Light Heavyweight Silver International Title: Johnny Muller vs Wilbeforce Shihepo (Namibia)
