Rainy day does not stop workers from helping

Resident happy with service received from ward councillor, metro employees.

Diana Kent, Elandsfontein writes:

I recently discovered a huge leak at the bottom of my garden.

I phoned the number on my municipal statement and got through to the call-taking centre; however, after the welcome message it cut me off.

I then contacted my ward councillor, Graham Gersbach, sent him a photo of the leak and asked if he could help me with the problem.

Within 10 minutes he sent me a reference number.

The following day, in the pouring rain, four Ekurhuleni employees arrived and sorted out the problem.

I thank them very much for their work on a Sunday in the rain.

They were all lovely people with such a good attitudes, many thanks.
