Today, October 5, is World Teachers’ Day.
This special day has seen the hashtag #teachersday2017 trending on Twitter from early this morning.
Now I am sure we can all agree that at some point in our schooling career there was a special teacher, lecturer or professor who had a substantial impact on our lives.
So with this in mind, World Teachers’ Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate the amazing teachers who helped to shape our young minds and continue to change lives.
The day also aims to raise awareness of the important daily role played by teachers all over the world.
Can you imagine just how daunting it must be to be made responsible for educating future generations?
This is not an easy feat by any means.
So, children and parents, show your support for these dedicated and important people not just on Teachers’ Day, but throughout the whole year.
