Who is responsible for street light maintenance?

A Primrose resident writes:

I am concerned that the street lights in Rietfontein Road, in Primrose, are not working.

I believe that the lack of lighting in the area could result in an increase of crime in the area.

I reported the matter to the metro but still nothing has been done to fix the street lights.

Who is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the street lights in Germiston?

When can we expect the issue to be resolved?
