My six-year-old grandson and I recently drove through the Germiston CBD.
During the drive he asked me: “Why don’t they clean up the town?
“This place gives me the creeps.”
What am I supposed to tell him?
The truth, that the metro seems to show no interest in the town?
Throughout the Germiston CBD there are pavements dug up and left for months.
I wish I could tell my grandson there is hope for the Germiston CBD.
