‘Thanks Daniel for the great service’

Great customer service received.

I have been reporting to the UIF office in Germiston to sign for UIF benefits for the last six or seven months.

Being unemployed is unpleasant enough and having to stand in long queues for hours makes it even worse, especially for pregnant women, women with small babies and other children, older people like myself, as well as all the other thousands of unemployed standing and waiting in line for hours.

However, on about five occasions I was lucky, because Daniel Kgwele was on duty.

He makes sure that everyone is helped really fast.

When he is there, I never have to wait for more than half an hour.

He is polite, helpful, efficient and he makes the whole process of claiming UIF so much more pleasant.

When he is on duty, the rest of the staff smile and he lifts the morale of the entire department, as well as the morale of everyone waiting in line.

The minute we UIF “old hands” see he is on duty we smile, because we know that we’ll be in and out as fast as humanly possible

I really believe he deserves public recognition for the contribution he makes to improving the lot of unemployed people in Germiston.

I thank him on my own behalf and also on behalf of the thousands of other unemployed people he so happily and efficiently assists.
