‘Good work council’

A great big thank you to the metro for their prompt service.

Liezel, Des and Francine Wellen, Fishers’ Hill write:

Our water meter was damaged and all the piping broken during an attempted robbery, recently.

Water was flowing out of the water meter hole at a rapid rate.

We phoned the council to report the matter and stated that it needed to be addressed with urgency.

Approximately an hour later we phoned again and asked how long it would still take for the repairs to be done.

Within a few minutes of my last call, a council vehicle arrived and they temporarily repaired it and our water was back on.

We would like to thank the council and client service department for their prompt response.
