If not, are you aware of the fact that the electricity supply to Delville, Tedstoneville and half of Elsburg is off two or three times a week?
The outages go on for hours at a time.
I am a pre-paid customer, which means that I have no choice but to pay for my electricity, and yet I am still left in the dark.
Because of the power outages, I am forced to stay awake, as I suffer from sleep apnea and need to sleep with a medical machine.
No electricity means I get no sleep.
So please explain to me what you mean when you say Ekurhuleni is “a better place today than it was in 1994”?
I would love an answer from the mayor, for him to explain what the problem is with electricity supply to above mentioned areas and to explain what is being done to fix the problem.
