The Saheti School marked its 50th anniversary on June 24, with celebrations continuing throughout the year.
In a recent highlight, the school launched a commemorative book titled And Not to Yield at an intimate event.
The book, which chronicles Saheti’s history and accomplishments, was compiled by a team deeply rooted in the school community: former student Digby Ricci, Dr Daniela Pitt and John Generalis.
Together, they spent months planning and creating a visual and narrative journey through Saheti’s five decades.
Generalis, who contributed to the book’s images and design, said, “I wanted the book to be a visual feast that captures the school’s beauty. Saheti has amazing art and culture, and I hope we conveyed that.”
Gary Ttappous, the chairperson of the Saheti board, added, “This book celebrates our past, honours the present and lays the foundation for the future as we continue to build on our legacy.”
The launch event featured stories, reflections and musical performances, bringing together the Greek community to celebrate Saheti’s heritage and achievements.
