Suspect wanted for hijacking and kidnapping in Germiston

The Benoni Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit is appealing to the public for help in locating a suspect involved in a hijacking and kidnapping incident in Germiston.

The suspect is wanted in connection with the abduction of a victim, who has provided descriptions of the perpetrators and might be able to identify them.

According to Sergeant Maxwell Mabunda, the Germiston SAPS communication officer, the suspects operated in two groups.

One group posed as traffic officers in full uniform, while the other was not in uniform.

The SAPS has warned the community that these suspects are armed and dangerous.

“A hijacking and kidnapping case was opened at the Germiston SAPS, and the investigations are ongoing.

“We urgently need the community’s help to bring these criminals to justice,” said Mabunda.
