The Primrose SAPS urged anyone with information about the death of a Zimbabwean national to come forward.
The police are investigating a murder and the circumstances leading to the death of the man found in Primrose on February 26.
The police also called on the community to help find the deceased’s relatives.
The man was found at the intersection of Primrose and Rietfontein roads after the SAPS received reports of a body at about 08:00.
The man had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

According to officers, his former partner identified him.
“He was identified as a Zimbabwean national in his late 30s.
He lived at Delport Ext 6 in Primrose.
“No information regarding his family has been received. The ambulance services certified him dead at the scene,” said district communications officer Captain Nelda Sekgobela.
