CoE’s licensing centres affected by technical glitches

The city has a contingency plan to assist license renewal customers who were turned back at the licensing centres because of the current system glitch to return any time within 14 days of their original appointment to renew their documents.

Licensing centres across the city are currently experiencing difficulty when processing vehicle registrations and various licensing claims because of technical glitches.

The glitches are at the side of the National Traffic Information System (eNaTis).

eNaTis is the competency of the National Department of Transport, which controls this system’s functionality.

In the meantime, the city has a contingency plan to assist license renewal customers who were turned back at the licensing centres because of the current system glitch to return any time within 14 days of their original appointment to renew their documents.

The licensing department’s operating hours are:

• 08:00 to 15:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

• 09:00 to 15:00 on Wednesdays

• 08:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays.

The city apologises for the inconvenience caused by the system downtime.
