Blind SA needs Setswana testers towards project

Blind SA is involved in a project to develop a Setswana text-to-speech engine and urgently need Setswana-speaking testers to assist.

Blind SA is involved in a project to develop a Setswana text-to-speech engine that will work with the NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA).

This is a free screen reader available for download on windows that reads aloud page content and relevant semantic information.

“The project has been progressing well and has reached a stage where the developer is currently looking for Setswana speaking testers, preferably if Setswana is your mother tongue.

“Kindly note, if you volunteer to test the Setswana voice, we would expect you to show commitment, to give your feedback and respond to queries,” explained Blind SA’s Lerato Jiyane.
