Locals join hands for a clean up at a farm

Essentially Edenvale took its first clean-up campaign to Horwood's Farm.

NPO Essentially Edenvale held the first community clean-up of the year on February 10, at Horwood’s Farm.

Members of the NPO were hard at work in their attempts to keep the park clean with their war against weeds initiative.

Seventeen people attended the campaign.

Campaign organiser Lisa Atkins said the clean-up was a ‘great’ success.

“We had Catherine, who is one of the trained horticulturists from Edenvale Parks, assisting us on the day,” she said.

Essentially Edenvale launched its first clean-up campaign for the year at Horwood’s Farm.

She urged more community members to join the initiative and support the NPO.

“Supporting the NPO’s initiatives you get to enjoy the fresh air and Edenvale’s green spaces,” said Atkins.
