Excellence continues at St Catherine’s
For the past 15 years, the school has achieved a 100% pass rate.
St Catherine’s’ class of 2023 kept the tradition going by maintaining a 100% pass rate.
For the past 15 years, the school has achieved a 100% pass rate.
Of the 35 learners who wrote, 34 achieved bachelor’s passes, qualifying them to attend university, and one candidate gained a diploma pass, enabling them to go on to further tertiary studies.

The top achievers included valedictorian Bianca Champion, who attained distinctions for English, Afrikaans, mathematics, life orientation and visual arts, and head girl Chiyedza Shambamuto, who got distinctions for English, Afrikaans, business studies, accounting, and life orientation.
They were followed by Tintswalo Nyaka, who passed English, accounting and life orientation with distinction.
In addition, six learners attained two distinctions each, and 10 others each got one.
