A Christmas wonderland for charity

Making a positive difference in the lives of children.

Derick and Angie Norman transformed their home at 24a Dorp Street in Florentia into a Christmas paradise.

The Normans’ festive decorations and light display became a highlight of the Christmas light tour in Alberton.

Visitors were not only treated to the visual delight of lights but also had the unique opportunity to enter the Norman family’s yard and stroll through their very own Christmas valley.

Beyond the decorations, the Norman family extended their generosity to a charitable cause. They sold boerewors rolls to raise funds for the Rata Social Service in Elsburg.

Kicking off the new year, food parcels, second-hand goods, and an envelope were handed over to Pieter Schreiber from Rata Social Service.

The heartfelt donation aims to make a positive impact on the lives of the children at the home, bringing smiles during the holiday season.

Derick thanked to Meat World New Redruth for their generous donation of boerewors. He also extended warm thanks to the community for their unwavering support.
