Melville Koppies opens every Sunday morning from 08:00 to 11:30 except on December 24 and 31.
Muhammad Adamjee is a KwaZulu-Natal-based botanist who is a regular visitor at Melville Koppies.
He always tries to find new species to add to his stock of photographs of over 5000 different species from across the country.
Others visit for a gentle stroll and to learn about the earlier inhabitants of the Koppies.
Book a guided tour leaving at 08:00 sharp for R100 per adult or self-guide yourselves along the many paths.

Security on the Koppies provided.
Entrance costs R90 for adults and R50 for children under 18.
All funds are used for the maintenance of the Koppies.
