Highest award presented to local Cubs

It is the first time in about five years the troop awarded Leaping Wolf badges.

Cubs from Third Kensington Sea Scouts recently excelled when they achieved the highest accolade for their age group and section.

For the first time in approximately five years the troop awarded Leaping Wolf badges to Cubs Caroline Peake and Skyla Costine.

To meet the requirements recipients must meet certain goals which include a planting project at the Scout hall, personal challenges and creating a knot board with 10 knots.

Overall, it takes about 40 hours to complete this badge. It is the highest honour that can be given to a Cub.
