Residents have been without power for two weeks, leading to growing frustrations.
They burned tyres and blocked the roads with bricks this afternoon. Elderly residents have urged the community to assist them with food donations.
EMPD officers are at the scene controlling traffic at Black Reef and Hatfield roads.
