Primrose police conduct school searches ahead of exams

High schools in Primrose struggle with substance misuse.

Primrose SAPS recently conducted school searches as learners started their March examinations to make sure they are not writing tests while under the influence of substances.

The search, aimed to encourage a safer learning environment for students, was conducted in collaboration with the Youth Crime Prevention Desk and other stakeholders.

The stakeholders conducted their operations at Dawnview High School on March 15.

“Nothing illegal was discovered which shows that our message about encouraging a safer learning environment is being taken seriously,” said Primrose SAPS corporate communications officer Sergeant Styles Maome.
