EMPD team outshines opponents at sporting event
The Palace of Dreams’ soccer team excelled and made it to the final.
The EMPD emerged victorious during a sports day at Carnival City Casino in Brakpan on October 2.
The event saw participation from various teams, including staff from Emperors Palace, who competed in soccer, netball, and volleyball against teams from the EMPD, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Gauteng Gambling Board, Carnival City and Times Square casinos.

While Emperors Palace’s netball and volleyball teams could not secure any victories, the EMPD teams triumphed in both disciplines, securing their status as champions of the day.
In soccer, Emperors Palace put up a strong performance, advancing to the final after defeating Carnival City 2-1 in their opening game, with goals from Tlou Moyo and Sibusiso Mohlahlo.
However, in the final, the EMPD squad proved too strong, winning 3-1 and sealing their dominance for the day.
