Locals rally behind Bokke in the world cup

Supporters showed their love for the national squad, which won its first pool game against Scotland 18-3.

With the start of the 10th Rugby World Cup, fans in the community were out and about, dressed in their regalia to show their support for the Bokke.

The RWC started on September 8 in France.

Lyra de Jong showed her support for the national rugby squad while out and about in Greenstone.

On September 9, community members showed their support for the national squad at a developmental rugby tournament held at Bedfordview Primary School, the German Club and a market in Greenstone.

Gabriel de Frietas kept things cool on the braai during the rugby tournament played at Bedfordview Primary School on September 9.

The same day, the Bokke won their first pool game against Scotland 18-3.

Parents Leon van Rooyen and Zerit Measho supported Trinity House. which competed in the rugby tournament at Bedfordview Primary.
