Help local police find Mxolisi Celmpilo Mdlalose

On the day of his disappearance, Mdlalose contacted his girlfriend to tell her that he was on his way to visit her.

The Cleveland SAPS appealed to the community for help to find Mxolisi Celmpilo Mdlalose, who is missing.

The 30-year-old male went missing on Jules Street, Malvern, on March 17 at 22:15.

He was last seen wearing a blue, round hat and a yellow tracksuit jacket.

Mdlalose’s black hair was brushed forwards at the time.

He also had a moustache and a black beard.

Cleveland Police Station’s communication officer Captain Johan Jordaan said on the day of his disappearance, Mdlalose contacted his girlfriend to tell her he was on his way to visit her.

“He never arrived, and she phoned his friends, who also did not know his whereabouts,” said Jordaan.

He said an enquiry was opened for investigation and assigned to Cleveland SAPS’ Detective Sergeant Rikhotso.

The SAPS is continuing its search for Mdlalose.

“Sergeant Rikhotso appealed to the public to come forward with any information that might assist the police or help determine Mdlalose’s whereabouts.”

Rikhotso can be called on 073 418 9830 and the Cleveland Police Station on 011 607 5745/6.

Community members can also use the police emergency number 10111 or Crime Stop on 0860 010 111.

Jordaan said any information would be kept confidential.
