Germiston police donate sanitary pads to learners

This was done to ensure these girls don’t miss a day of school.

The female officers from the Germiston SAPS donated sanitary packs to learners at Leeuwpoort Primary School.

Their visit also recognised International Women’s Day.

The visit aimed to promote self-love, coach girls in self-confidence, and create awareness of crimes perpetrated against children and the prevention measures of such crimes.

“Going beyond the call of duty, the officers donated sanitary towels to the learners.

“This was done to ensure these young girls don’t miss a day in school,” said social crime prevention officer Sergeant Media Khoza.
