Burning Stars players get a warm meal from Itemba Feeding Scheme

Jenny Schneigansz, the previous manager of Itemba Soup Kitchen, recently launched Itemba Feeding Scheme as she returned to serving the community.

The feeding scheme is an avid supporter of local football club, Burning Stars FC.

The Itemba Feeding Scheme serves drinks to Burning Stars players.

“The feeding scheme helps so many in the community. Marthie Kruger is the new manager of the feeding scheme,” said Schneigansz.

On March 1, the feeding scheme donated food to Burning Stars.

“The scheme supports 62 families, which consists of 200 people. On the 21st or 22nd of every month, we hand over food packages to these families.

“Once a month, we also provide a meal to the soccer team,” said Kruger.
