Local hospital urges relatives to come forward to identify unclaimed bodies

A paupers burial will be arranged should the bodies remain unclaimed.

Bertha Gxowa Hospital is looking for the relatives of deceased people.

The details of unclaimed bodies are:

Sanele Hlatswayo, born on April 4 in 1989, died on January 15.

Snethemba Mamphikwa was picked up from the BP Garage in Primrose.

He was born on April 2, 1995, died on December 30, 2022.

John Thabama was picked up by an ambulance from Germiston Taxi Rank.

He was born on August 24, 1973, and died on January 13.

Nkgaudise Molefe was 68 years old and died on January 8.

Ephraim Mahlatse was picked up from President Street, Germiston.

He was born on May 4, 1957, and died on December 31.

Jackie du Preez was picked up at Alberton North.

Du Preez died on December 31.

Baby to Evelyn Mpambare, a stillborn on January 2.

Family members and friends are urged to claim the bodies of their loved ones.

“Alternatively, paupers’ burials will be arranged,” said Bertha Gxowa Hospital communications officer Mampe Marapyane.
