It was a day of celebration for Hawks Academy on Friday when the matric results came out.

The class of 2022 was the first class of matriculants of Hawks Academy and they have made the school proud with a 100% pass.
Top learner Banathi Nkomeni bagged five distinctions. She said the school’s study camp assisted her in achieving her goals.
“The camp offered us the opportunity to focus on our studies and not stress about what is happening at home or the chores we have to do.
“Sometimes the activities you need to do at home can be a distraction to your studies because sometime you might even be exhausted to study,” said Banathi.
She said dedication, hard work, and sacrifice were required to achieve her goal.

“The journey was not easy. I had to make a sacrifice and missed out on social stuff but it was all worth it,” shared Banathi.
Her plans for this year are to study teaching at Wits.
