Locals have Halloween fun at Delville

LamDel Residents Association chairperson Jakkie Janse van Vuuren said the event was beautiful and the audience turnout exceeded their expectations.

The LamDel Residents Association hosted a Halloween Party and fundraising event at the 1st Germiston Scout Hall in Delville on October 29.

Food and costume stalls were also decorated in spooky ways for the Halloween spirit.

A skull section was also displayed at the Halloween event.

Human simulation sites were created and family and friends of all ages paraded the hall and enjoyed a night of Halloween experiences.

LamDel Residents Association chairperson Jakkie Janse van Vuuren said the event was beautiful and the audience turnout exceeded their expectations.

“We have received loads of positive feedback. People from as far as Brackenhurst and other areas of Alberton attended,” said Janse van Vuuren.

“We had sponsors and vendors that supported the vision of the event. Other people volunteered their time,” said Jakkie.

She said they are now looking forward to hosting the event next year.

Members of the Graphite Security Team of Gary Basterfield and Deon Graaff.

They now shift their focus to Christmas events.
