Medical equipment donated to Primrose care centre

Members of the centre also received monitoring machines to check their blood sugar levels at home.

Clicks Primrose Shopping Centre recently visited Rest-a-While Service Centre to donate medical equipment to the elderly.

They also conducted medical tests where they checked blood pressure, sugar levels and cholesterol.

Bridget Motshana, store manager, said this was their first community outreach post Covid-19.

“We want to re-establish our relationships with local organisations and schools,” said Motshana.

Members of the centre also received monitoring machines to check their blood sugar levels at home.

“During the testing we discovered that some members had high sugar levels. We donated four sugar monitoring machines and gift packs.”
