Primrose police speak to learners about safety

The talk was hosted on September 22, where the SAPS advised learners to be cautious when walking back home from school.

Primrose SAPS, Primrose Victim Empowerment Centre representatives and Youth Crime Prevention Desk members visited East Rand Academy Of Excellence on September 23.

The purpose was to address the Grade One and Grade Two learners about bullying, theft and dicipline.

Sergeant Styles Maome of Primrose SAPS discouraged learners from bullying each other and encouraged them to report any crime related issues to the teacher to report to the police.

Germiston SAPS Social Crime Prevention unit also visited Ekurhuleni Primary School to host a talk about bullying and the safety of learners inside and outside the school.

The talk was hosted on September 22, where the SAPS advised learners to be cautious when walking back home from school.

The SAPS also raised awareness on substance abuse.
