White Toyota bakkie stolen at gun point in Ekurhuleni area

The vehicle is a white Toyota Hilux with registration number XZP043GP and a case has been opened with at the Rabie Ridge police.

A bakkie was hijacked along Inauguration and Transformation streets in Phomolong on September 27.

According to Sergeant Dipolelo Moremi from Rabie Ridge Police Station, the driver of the bakkie reported that at around 19:00 a white Chevrolet vehicle without registration plates blocked his path.

“He was approached by two men. The complainant was ordered to exit the car by one of the suspects, who was holding a gun. The two suspects then entered the complainant’s car and drove off.
