The road has been dilapidating and poses a danger to motorists, especially at night.

Nicole Botha, a resident of Klopperpark, said the pothole makes the road narrow and two cars cannot pass simultaneously.

“We have on numerous occasions reported but nothing has been done about it. Potholes pose a treat as they can damage tyres and lead to accidents.

“At night if you are not aware of the damage on the road you can damage your tyres. We can lose lives by the looks of things,” said Nicole.
