Sunward High visits Elsburg Police

The police gave the learners a tour around the station and educated them on the law.

Sunward High Performance School Representative Council of Learners (RCL) visited the Elsburg Police Station on July 18.

They spent their 67 minutes for Mandela Day recognising the efforts and work put in by the SAPS.

Learners took old signs off the walls and replaced them with new ones.

They also handed out snacks and cupcakes to the police.

The police gave the learners a tour around the station and educated them on the law.

They also shared safety tips with the learners and the significance of fingerprints on a crime scene.

The RCL members defines a hero as someone who loves and serves his/her country despite having to see its darkest aspects daily and to them the police officers of Elsburg Station is a true reflection of this.
