“There is always someone in need of a helping hand. As the foundation we always collect to assist whenever there is a need in the community,” said Owami.

She said helping others is her passion.

“My personal experiences inspired me to start Wami Foundation. In difficult times you need someone in your corner,” said Owami.

She said doing good and helping others should be an everyday thing.

“I know this time of the year we all give to honour Madiba.

“I want to encourage the community to make it an everyday day thing.

“We have families going through a difficult time and in need, so these donations make a difference,” said Owami.
