Sylvie Richards of Hazeldene was selected for the National Safbaf Savof Kolgooi Championship finals.

This came after she took part in the provincial Kolgooi and Vergooi angling trials.

The Kolgooi and Vergooi event focuses on the ability to cast accurately and cast the distance.

Anglers were tested and measured on 60m, 80m and their far cast.

Scoring herself first place in the 60m cast and second place in both 80m and far casting secured her a place in the finals.
