The Modderfontein Farmers Market will host Paws in the Park on June 25.

The doggy talent show, which will run from 11:30 to 14:30, aims to raise funds for local animal rescue organisations.

The market takes place at the Modderfontein Bird and Sculpture Park.

Prizes will be up for grabs for the most obedient, best dressed, best groomed and best owner-pooch look-a-like categories.

Prizes are sponsored by Canine Cafe at Flamingo Shopping Centre, Fido’s Fancies dog biscuits, Sue’s Mobile Spa and the Mutt Club Doggie Day Care.

Winner rosettes have been donated by the Winning Rosettes Company.
