Primrose SAPS out to lead learners away from crime

Lwazi Zungu of Primrose Youth Desk warned the learners against bullying and substance abuse.

Primrose SAPS, Ekurhuleni Local Drug Action Committee, Ekupholeni Mental Health and Trauma Centre representatives and youth desk members visited Primrose Technical High School to discourage learners from criminal activities.

The visit took place on April 13. Learners were also discouraged from bringing illegal substances to school.

During the visit, Ezra Senyatsi, a social worker from Ekupholeni NGO and Primrose Victim Empowerment Centre, urged learners to use the centre.

Sgt Styles Maome, the corporate communications officer of Primrose SAPS, said Senyatsi also informed learners about services offered at the centre.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Eunice Nzuza commended the team that was part of the visit promoting a safe learning environment in local schools.
