Music has been part of her life, as she is from aZulu tribe where cultural music is prominent.

Her love for singing was exposed on church grounds, where she sang a cappella with the choir.

“I was exposed to traditional music at an early age. My father had vinyls of the late Brenda Fassie. My sister and I would sing her songs and lip-sync at times. Brandy was another artist I drew inspiration from,” said Dladla.

She is working towards completing her two upcoming projects. One being a four-track trap soul EP and an eight-track Afro-house EP.

“I have worked with different producers like Streys De DJ from the Netherlands,” she said.

She has shared the stage with the likes of Alfa Kat, which she describes as the greatest experience of her life.

“I have also worked with local and international artists. I collaborated with Fiddla from UK on an Afro-house song that charted on Track Source and landed on number 13,” said Dladla.

She described herself as a versatile vocalist who seeks to uplift and heal people through music.

“I write and sing in most South African languages,” said Dladla.

She received her big break when she landed her first performance at the Ignite Africa event in the Eastern Cape.

Since then, she enjoyed airplay at The Voice of Tembisa FM (VOT), Alex FM and Ukhozi FM.
